AN INTENSE COLD FRONT TRIGGERED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...WHICH MOVED 
INTO THE WFO WILMINGTON FORECAST AREA AFTER 8 PM. THERE WERE 
WIDESPREAD REPORTS OF WINDS IN THE 40-60 MPH RANGE...AS WELL AS 
NUMEROUS TREES DOWNED AND ISOLATED STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. ALTHOUGH 
LIGHTNING BECAME LESS PREVALENT WITH THE LINE AS THE EVENING 
PROGRESSED...THE STRENGTH OF THE FRONT ALLOWED STRONG...STORM SCALE 
WINDS TO CONTINUE ALONG THE LINE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.
