A Pacific storm and atmospheric river will impact the Pacific Northwest states and northern Rockies this weekend, bringing locally heavy low elevations rain and heavy high elevation snow in the mountains. ...DAMAGE SURVEY CONDUCTED IN FAYETTE COUNTY OHIO...

THE WILMINGTON NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE CONDUCTED A
STORM DAMAGE SURVEY IN FAYETTE COUNTY OHIO TODAY. THE DAMAGE WAS A
RESULT OF STORMS THAT MOVED THROUGH THE AREA WEDNESDAY EVENING...
OCTOBER 4. DAMAGE OCCURRED AT A LOCATION ABOUT 3 AND 1/2 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF JEFFERSONVILLE AT ABOUT 540 PM TO 545 PM EDT YESTERDAY.
THE DAMAGE INCLUDED A ROOF RIPPED OFF A MOBILE HOME AND MORE MINOR
DAMAGE TO A NUMBER OF OTHER MOBILE HOMES. TREES WERE DOWNED OR
DAMAGED IN THE AREA AS WELL. THE SURVEY...COMBINED WITH RADAR
INFORMATION...INDICATES THAT THE STORM PRODUCED A DOWNBURST. THIS
DOWNBURST CAUSED THE DAMAGE. THE WINDS WITH THE STORM WERE ESTIMATED
TO BE AROUND 70 MPH.
