Heat Continues for the East and South-Central U.S.; Strong to Severe Storms Across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast

The extremely dangerous heat wave continues across the East Coast and much of the South-Central U.S. today. Record high temperatures are expected for some areas especially across the Mid-Atlantic where extreme heat risk conditions reside. ...DAMAGE SURVEY CONDUCTED IN CLARK COUNTY TODAY...

A DAMAGE SURVEY WAS CONDUCTED IN CLARK COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON. THE
DAMAGE OCCURRED FROM A STORM THAT MOVED THROUGH NORTHEAST CLARK
COUNTY TUESDAY EVENING AT AROUND 800 PM TO 815 PM. TWO LOCATIONS WERE
SURVEYED. BOTH OF THE LOCATIONS WERE SOUTHEAST OF CATAWBA IN PLEASANT
TOWNSHIP. DAMAGE OCCURRED TO A MOBILE HOME AT ONE LOCATION AND A POLE
BARN AT ANOTHER LOCATION. THE SURVEY SUGGESTED THAT STRAIGHT LINE
WINDS OF AROUND 70 MPH CAUSED THE DAMAGE.
