AMOUNTS ARE BRUNSWICK...NEW HANOVER...AND PENDER COUNTIES.
AREAS FURTHER INLAND WILL GENERALLY HAVE LESS THAN AN INCH OF

SEVERAL ROAD CLOSURES HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS THE AREA...
ESPECIALLY IN THE COASTAL COUNTIES OF NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA.
NOW THAT IT IS DARK THIS IS THE MOST DANGEROUS TIME FOR WATER TO
BE PONDING ON THE ROADS AS IT WILL NOT BE SEEN BY MOTORISTS UNTIL
THE LAST SECOND. EVEN SHALLOW WATER CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF A
VEHICLE.

IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
