Temperature Outage at Lewiston and Rockland Maine

We are aware of the ongoing outage of the temperature sensors at both Lewiston and Rockland Maine.  If you live in vicinity of these airports, you will notice this impacts the "current conditions" being reported via point specific location forecast on weather.gov.  Unfortunately, these are not National Weather Service observation sites.  They are owned and maintained by the FAA.  We have notified them of the issues.  However, they have not provided us with an estimated restore date.  Until these temperature sensors are fixed, you can visit https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/map/?wfo=gyx&obs=true for additional weather observations in your local area.
