Hot temperatures are expected again today along the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and lower Mississippi Valley. Heavy to excessive rainfall from thunderstorms today in parts of the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic regions may bring areas of flooding. The Open Lake Forecast (GLF) is a text product issued by five primary Great Lakes Weather Forecast Offices. It is written mainly in a sentence style which adds extra length to the forecast.
