Locally Heavy Rain for Mid-Atlantic and Central Florida; Fire Weather Concerns for the Plains; Heat Continues Out West

Locally heavy rainfall will affect portions of the mid-Atlantic today as residual tropical moisture moves through the region. Beach/Swim forecasts will resume prior to Memorial Day 2025.
