Heavy Rainfall in the Southwest; Scattered Severe Thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic

Heavy rainfall and the potential for flooding will continue through this evening in the Southwest, with particular concern for flooding over recent burn scars and higher terrain. Overview

Unseasonably warm weather will continue today, with record high temperatures possible once again. Temperatures this afternoon could approach or break all-time record high temperatures for the month of February across central and east-central Wisconsin. The table below lists the record highs for twelve sites across north-central and northeast Wisconsin. Temperatures will return to near normal for late February by this weekend.  Wintry weather returns Thursday night.
