Areas of Excessive Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms on Tuesday

Heavy to excessive rainfall is forecast over north Texas into Oklahoma Tuesday. Locally catastrophic flooding will be possible across portions of southwest Oklahoma. Flood Watches have been issued. Untreated roads, sidewalks, and parking lots will remain icy/slippery this afternoon.

The last significant round of freezing precipitation has ended for most of the area. However, there is a chance of a few periods of light mixed precipitation, along with freezing fog, through the afternoon. Where temperatures have climbed to or above freezing, light rain is expected. 

Untreated roads, sidewalks, and parking lots will remain icy/slippery!  Make sure to drive / walk with caution.
