Lake Effect Snow Continues Across Vilas County - Arctic Air Arrives Tonight

Overview

The wintry precip has come to an end for most the area. However, snow showers will linger into Wednesday morning across far north central Wisconsin, mainly Vilas County, as lake effect snow continues off of Lake Superior. Where snow and freezing rain fell today, snow covered and slippery roads are possible into tonight. Where mainly rain/drizzle fell, falling temperatures this evening will lead to untreated roads and surfaces to become slippery.

Remember, take it SLOW in ICE and SNOW.
