The Groundhog Day Storm...

Wet, heavy snow fell across much of central and northeast Wisconsin on February 2 as low pressure moved across the region. Five to eight inches fell, most of that in only about six hours, creating treacherous roads during the afternoon commute.

An additional 1 to 3 inches fell on February 3 as an upper level weather disturbance moved through. Two-day snow totals in Green Bay reached 8.4 inches.
