Areas of Heavy to Excessive Rainfall and Hot Temperatures This Week

Heavy to excessive rainfall could bring areas of flooding at times Monday through Thursday across parts of the central Plains into the Midwest as well as southern Arizona and New Mexico. Today (Wednesday, February 27th) between 8 am and 5 pm,

the Montrose NOAA Weather Radio (KXI-90 on this map) will intermittently lose audio.

The outage will be intermittent during the time listed above due to state technicians cutting over to the upgraded microwave line. This outage will affect the Montrose, Delta, Gunnison and Ouray listening areas. The map below shows the approximate area of outage.
