Severe thunderstorms are likely from the southern Plains to the Midwest through Friday. Large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are all possible. An Enhanced (level 3 of 5) risk is in effect. Today (Wednesday, February 27th) between 8 am and 5 pm,

the Montrose NOAA Weather Radio (KXI-90 on this map) will intermittently lose audio.

The outage will be intermittent during the time listed above due to state technicians cutting over to the upgraded microwave line. This outage will affect the Montrose, Delta, Gunnison and Ouray listening areas. The map below shows the approximate area of outage.
