Areas of Excessive Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms on Tuesday

Heavy to excessive rainfall is forecast over north Texas into Oklahoma Tuesday. Locally catastrophic flooding will be possible across portions of southwest Oklahoma. Flood Watches have been issued. Drier weather today, still a chance of storms in the mountains

Drier weather has moved in from the northwest today. Expect a few isolated storms in the mountains, however overall much drier air will eliminate the rain threat in the lower valleys. Increasing chances for thunderstorms are expected by Friday.
