Beat The Heat! Hot and Dry Conditions This Weekend into Next Week!
Through the rest of the weekend and into next week, temperatures will see a significant warming trend with the lower valleys of southeast Utah and the Grand Valley rising into the triple digits. This is all due to a ridge of high pressure building over the region leading to dry and hot conditions. A cool front will move across the north this weekend, resulting in some breezier conditions during the afternoons but not much relief from the heat. An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for the lower valleys of southeast Utah and the Grand Valley from Monday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
