Flooding Threat Continues in Portions of Texas; Poor Air Quality in the Great Lakes through the Mid-Atlantic

Widespread life-threatening flash and urban flooding continues in south-central Texas, with considerable flooding impacts possible across central Texas. Wildfire smoke is impacting air quality across much of the Great Lakes region into southern New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Nov. 2019 Summary (Slightly Colder-Than-Normal...Above-Average Snowfall Most Areas):

November 2019 was highlighted by well-above-average snowfall across the majority of our coverage area (except for parts of the southeast), along with slightly below average temperatures (area-wide). Precipitation wise, roughly the northwestern two-thirds of the area was above normal, while especially the southeastern one-fourth (particularly within north central KS) was solidly below normal. The single biggest "weather highlight" of the month was a significant winter storm on the 26th that dumped 6-10" of snow across roughly the northwestern two-thirds of the area. (See full narrative in the tabs below for much more!)
