The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office, Flagstaff, is happy to give group tours of our office in Bellemont. Afternoon tours may also have the opportunity to view a weather balloon launch! A tour group size is limited to a maximum of 20 persons due to space limitations at the forecast office.

To request a tour, contact by sending an email to or by calling . Please include the following information in your request:

  1. Your name and where (city or town) you are from
  2. The size and age range (if a school class) of the group
  3. Primary and secondary date/time choices for a tour
  4. A contact name for your tour, phone number and e-mail address

A representative from the NWS Forecast Office will call or e-mail the tour contact to confirm the tour or, if needed, reschedule the tour if the requested date/time will not work.

Teachers: We have found that for younger weather enthusiasts, it is helpful for them to come to the tour prepared with some weather questions to ask. Of course, we encourage questions from all tour participants!
