Overview

A major winter storm affected the region bringing heavy snow to a large portion of northwest and west central Minnesota. The greatest snowfall amounts fell from Fergus Falls to Detroit Lakes where 10 to 12 inches was common. Most locations received 4 to 8 inches of snow, with values decreasing to the north and west.
