Severe Weather Expected From the South to the Midwest; Critical Fire Weather in the Southwest; Excessive Heat in Texas

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to develop from the southern Plains to portions of the Midwest Friday. Damaging winds and very large hail will be the primary hazards.
