Catastrophic Flooding Impacts in South-Central Texas

Widespread life-threatening flash and urban flooding will continue to pose a significant threat to life and property in south-central Texas. Catastrophic fiver flooding, with rapid rises on small streams, arroyos, and typically dry washes, is expected. There's a low threat of heavy rainfall today, favoring areas west of the Continental Divide
We will again see scattered mountain and isolated lowland thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon. High temperatures will run several degrees below average and our winds will continue out of the east at 5 to 15 mph.
Most of the region (areas shaded in yellow) will see a 15-25% chance of flash flooding within 25 miles both Friday and Saturday
