Severe Weather on May 22, 2013

A low pressure system moving through lower Michigan on Wednesday brought areas of severe weather across parts of southeast Michigan.  Breaks in the cloud cover allowed for enough instability for storms to develop Wednesday afternoon.  The strongest storms affected areas south and east of a line stretching from Jackson, MI to Lakeport, MI.  The main impact was 40 to 60 mph winds, which downed multiple trees, tree limbs, and powerlines.
