A potent slow moving storm moved from the deep south into the Ohio Valley and into eastern Canada.  Rain started late Monday afternoon, November 28th.  Periodic heavy rainfall fell through November 29th.  Colder air filtered into Lower Michigan and changed the rain to snow during the evening and overnight hours on November 29th to November 30th.
