506 PM EDT Mon May 4 2026

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Southwest winds continue through this evening. A cold front moves
through tonight into tomorrow morning which veers wind direction
from southwest to north. Behind the front, winds across the region
will be lighter and variable in direction. Another low pressure
system organizes well south of the area Tuesday into Wednesday,
favoring the gradual development of northeast winds. As this low
moves over the Northeast mid to late week, northeast winds will back
from the northeast to northerly, and eventually take on a more
westerly component by Thursday.
