Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.10 inches, persists over the central Appalachians
today. This will maintain a hot and humid airmass in place over the
central Great Lakes with potential for scattered to numerous showers
and thunderstorms. A weak cold front passes south across the region
on Saturday, then weak low pressure tracks through Sunday into
Monday.
