Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front stalls across the southern Great Lakes and awaits
the next large low pressure system developing in the Plains today.
Dense fog holds across most of the central Great Lakes today into
Wednesday. Plains system deepens to 29.40 inches as it moves into
the Midwest resulting in easterly gales over northern Lake Huron by
Wednesday, and a Gale Warning is now in effect. A heavy wintry mix
of precipitation is also expected with the system Wednesday and
Thursday.
