.SYNOPSIS...Two main low pressure systems affect the Great Lakes during the late
week and weekend. The next system moves in from central Canada
tonight to near the west end of Lake Superior at 29.50 inches by
Friday afternoon. It dominates the weather across the Great Lakes
with a wide range of conditions. Temperatures moderate in the first
phase of the system as a pattern of snow moves across Lake Huron and
Lower Mi Friday and Friday night. This is followed by a brief period
of high pressure and then the second low pressure system that brings
progressively colder conditions highlighted by a surge of arctic air
late Sunday through early next week.
