Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.20 inches, is currently located near the Straits
and will drop south through Lake Michigan today. Winds and waves
will subside as a result, while wrap around moisture generates rain-
snow showers. A second New England low pressure system, 29.20
inches, brings northerly flow with gusts approaching gale force on
Friday.
