Overview

A low pressure system moved across northern portions of Ohio, bringing snow to portions of the Great Lakes region. Light to moderate snow began to work up from the southwest in the early Christmas Eve afternoon across Southeast Michigan. Both a Winter Weather Advisory and Winter Storm Warning were in effect from 1:00 pm to 11:00pm. Total snowfall accumulations from Sunday afternoon through midnight ranged from around an inch across the Tri-Cities area to 6-7 inches in parts of Macomb County.
