2010 Southeast Michigan Tornadoes Now Rank in the Top Six Years

With the 2 Macomb County tornadoes on August 19th, Southeast Michigan has now had 12 tornadoes for the year. This places 2010 tied for 6th place for the number of tornadoes in Southeast Michigan for any year (records go back to 1950). These latest 2 tornadoes also pushes the state total to 25 which is the most tornadoes for Michigan since 2001 when there were 35 tornadoes across the state.
