National Weather Service United States Department of Commerce

The remnants of the snowstorm which impacted the central portions of the country on Thursday lifted across the Great Lakes region Friday morning. Although the system had weakened, it still produced some accumulating snowfall across Southeast Michigan, most of which fell during the Friday morning commute. The highest snow totals were reported across the tri cities region (Saginaw, Midland, Bay City).
