Migrate NC operations from legacy systems to AWIPS to ensure all NC/WFOs/RFCs use the same platform for collaboration while supporting NWS Common Operational Picture (COP). 

The transition to AWIPS represents a significant upgrade in the technology and capabilities available to NCEP forecasters. Here are some key aspects of this transition:
