Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Severe Weather Spotters are a vital link in the timely and accurate flow of weather information into and out of weather forecast offices. Click here to learn more. Storm Spotter training is available to the public as conducted by the local NOAA/NWS Forecast Office on an annual scheduled basis.
