Fire Weather Concerns for the Plains; Thunderstorms in the Southeast; Record Warmth Spreads in the Southwest

Elevated to locally critical conditions will persist across the High Plains. Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected over parts of the Southeast and Florida Peninsula. Severe Weather Spotters are a vital link in the timely and accurate flow of weather information into and out of weather forecast offices. Click here to learn more. Storm Spotter training is available to the public as conducted by the local NOAA/NWS Forecast Office on an annual scheduled basis.
