Who can participate: Grades 1 - 6 including home-school and special education/individualized instruction students.
About your poster: Poster entries must illustrate the theme of Ohio severe weather safety and include a written safety message. Posters will be judged on originality, effort and technical correctness.
Severe weather awareness posters must cover one of these categories: tornadoes, flooding, thunder & lightning storms, winter storms or extreme heat (heat waves).
Deadline: All entries must be postmarked by April 16, 2018.
Winners: Regional Winners (by grade level); State Level Winners (by grade level); Overall Statewide Winner (one selected).
Regional Winners and their families will be invited to attend the Ohio State Fair August 5, 2017 where the Statewide Winner will be announced.
