November 18-21, 2016 Record Highs Followed by Lake Effect Snow

A season-changing low pressure system brings the area from record high temperatures to snowfall overnight.

New record high temperatures were established on Friday, November 18th with the entire area warming up into the 70s.  This was over 20 degrees above normal.

The location with the most snow was Corry, PA which ended up with 18.0 inches for this event!

Also of note, on November 20th, Cleveland Hopkins Airport reached 32 degrees for the first time this fall.  This made 2nd place for the longest stretch of weather above 32 degrees in station history.
