Eastern Richland County EF0

A tornado with a rating of EF0 first touched down about 2 miles north-northwest of Lucas near the intersection of Crimson and Mount Zion Roads. The tornado appeared to skip across its fourth-tenths of a mile path. Damage occurred to three structures. Of the damaged structures one barn was destroyed with another sustaining significant damage. As the tornado lifted near a home, it damaged the porch. Four cattle were injured. Sheet metal debris was found 3 miles from the initial touchdown. |
Eastern Holmes County EF1

A tornado with a rating of EF1 first touched down two miles northwest of Berlin and then moved southeast to Walnut Creek. It continued to Sugar Creek in Tuscarawas county. The tornado was up and down along its path. Damage was to 10-12 structures, mainly to the roofs. A camper trailer was blown over and a garage was moved off its foundation. |
Western Lucas County EF1

A tornado with a rating of EF1 first touched down at State Route 64 and the county line. The tornado moved northeast to the intersection of Reed and Spencer Road. Damage to trees occurred along the path. Some damage also occurred to roofs of homes and some out-buildings. |
Northern Wood & Western Ottawa County EF4

A team of National Weather Service Meteorologists performed an extensive survey of the tornado path in northeast Wood and western Ottawa counties. It was determined that a tornado with an intensity of EF4 with winds of approximately 170-175 MPH moved through the area. The tornado first touched down near I-80 and Oregon Rd. (east of Perrysburg) at 11:20 PM EDT, moved across the south side of Moline, near Metcalf Airport, across the northwest side of Millbury, into Ottawa county following Trowbridge Rd., and finally lifting at 11:35 PM EDT just west of Clay Center. |
Northern Erie County, PA EF0

A severe thunderstorm moved onshore near Virginia's Beach Campground and produced straight-line winds estimated at 60 MPH that resulted in one death at the campground. The storm also caused tree damage from a micro burst along West Lake Road east of Happy Valley Road. The storm then produced a tornado with a rating of EF0 that touched down near Pine Lane Campground on West Lake Road, northeast of Springfield. The tornado traveled intermittently along a 5 mile path to Girard. Damage to trees occurred along the path. A brick wall was moved off the foundation on the southeast side of a church where the tornado may have briefly attained EF1 strength. |
Southeast Ashtabula County EF1

A tornado with a rating of EF1 touched down southwest of Andover near the intersection of Mann Rd (Township Hwy 580) and Creek Rd (Township Hwy 149). The tornado traveled intermittently east-northeast across the south side of Andover, crossing Route 85 (East Main St.) east of town before ending around Pymatuning Rd. just north of Route 85. Southwest of town the tornado caused significant tree damage and removed a roof from a barn. Significant damage occurred to a warehouse on the southeast side of the town center. More trees were also snapped off near that location and along the path to the east-northeast. The tornado also tossed several boats into Pynatuning Reservoir as it ended. |
