SIGNIFICANT FLASH FLOODING DEVELOPED IN THE ERIE AREA TUESDAY MORNING AS A LAKE ENHANCED AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS STALLED OVER THE INTERSTATE 90 CORRIDOR IN NORTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA. MANY AREAS ALONG A LINE FROM GIRARD TO JUST SOUTH OF ERIE RECEIVED BETWEEN FOUR AND SIX INCHES OF RAINFALL BETWEEN 3AM AND NOON.
