The damage from the tornado started a half mile south of Arcadia in Hancock county near the intersection of Township Road 214 and 254. In northeast Hancock county, east of Arcadia, there were 10 homes that were severely damaged. The second floor was taken off several homes. The tornado moved northeast through the south side of Fostoria in Seneca county before dissipating. The tornado was rated as an EF1 at the beginning and developed further into an EF2 southeast of Arcadia with winds up to 130 MPH. As the tornado moved through the south side of Fostoria, it was an EF1. There were 10 minor injuries from this tornado.
