National Safe Boating Week is May 20 through May 26
The National Weather Service has partnered with the National Safe
Boating Council, a NOAA Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador to help
promote safe boating practices. The Council offers a wealth of
free resources such as infographics, videos, audio clips, fact
sheets, social media and much more. These resources can be found

During Safe Boating Week, NWS Caribou will produce daily Facebook
and Twitter posts. Today will focus on marine forecasts.
Tomorrow`s emphasis will be NOAA Weather Radio. On Monday,
attention turns to life jackets. Tuesday will focus on fog,
Wednesday on hurricane preparedness, Thursday on cold water
safety, and Friday on marine thunderstorms.

various videos and web sites each day, highlighting additional
weather and safe boating information.
