Atmospheric River in the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies this Weekend

A Pacific storm and atmospheric river will impact the Pacific Northwest states and northern Rockies this weekend, bringing locally heavy low elevations rain and heavy high elevation snow in the mountains. Bitterly cold temperatures expected across the Midlands and CSRA tonight with forecast lows only in the upper teens to lower 20s. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the majority of the forecast area. Make sure to take cold weather precautions ahead of the cold weather.
