June 30th...Slow moving thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold
front and produced locally heavy rainfall. Rainfall amounts from 2
to 3 inches produced flooding in parts of Richland County. Flooding
occurred along Percival Road and Forest Drive where a car became
stalled. Additional roadway flooding occurred along Leesburg Road.

July 6th and 7th...A weak frontal boundary stalled across the
region. This was the focus for slow moving strong to severe
thunderstorms that produced locally heavy rainfall and strong wind
gusts. Heavy rain fell across Columbia, Richmond, McDuffie and Burke
Counties on the 6th. Rainfall amounts ranged from 2 inches up to 7
inches across portions of Columbia County. This produced flooding
along several streams that flooded homes, businesses and roadways in
the area. The same stalled boundary was the focus for strong
thunderstorms on the 7th that produced locally heavy rainfall across
Lancaster and Fairfield Counties. Rainfall amounts from 2 to 3
inches produced some minor flooding of roadways across the area.

...Thunderstorms Produced Heavy Rainfall Across Portions of the
Midlands and Central Savannah River Area Sunday Afternoon and
Evening...
