IN RECENT MEMORY...BUT THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER REMARKABLE HEAT WAVES

HEAT WAVE ALSO HOLDS THE RECORD FOR THE MOST CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF 100 
DEGREES OR HIGHER...WITH 8.

HEAT WAVE THAT HIT THE REGION FROM LATE JUNE OF 1990 INTO EARLY JULY 
OF 1990 PRODUCED THE LONGEST CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF 100 DEGREES OR 
HIGHER AT AUGUSTA REGIONAL BUSH FIELD...WITH 7.
