Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The 30-year normals are updated once every 10 years by the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). Some of the popular variables calculated include: temperature, precipitation and snowfall that are listed here for our primary climate stations of Buffalo, Rochester and Watertown. The data displayed here is from NCEI which is the official source of climate normals.
