Cool, wet, and breezy conditions arrive Saturday evening and last into Monday morning. Widespread precipitation is forecast, with lower elevation rainfall and mountain snow. Light snow accumulations are possible over the foothills and higher hills across the plains.
After a warm and dry week, cooler temperatures are forecast Sunday into the new week. Widespread frost/freeze is likely Sunday night and Monday morning.
Widespread precipitation is forecast this evening into Monday morning, with lower elevation rainfall and mountain snow. Locally heavy rainfall may produce ponding of water in low lying areas. Isolated thunderstorms will move across south-central Montana today. Expect impacts to outdoor recreation.
Mountain snowfall will impact the Absaroka/Beartooth, Crazy, Bighorn, and Pryor mountains this weekend. The greatest snow amounts are forecast to fall in the Crazies (6-12 inches). In the Absaroka/Beartooths 5-10 inches are forecast and in the Bighorn/Pryors 2-5 inches. Use caution if recreating in the high country.
