Several minor issues were identified with rivers, lakes, and creeks in Southeast Alaska being incorrectly displayed as marine areas in both internal and external National Weather Service applications. Refinements will be made to public, marine, and fire weather areas to correct these issues. These changes will be transparent to the user. Below you will find a few visual examples of these inconsistencies and a comprehensive list of the affected locations/zones. Use the tabs to navigate to the information of interest.
