Heavy Rainfall in South Texas; Pacific Storm Moves into the Pacific Northwest

Thunderstorms may bring heavy to excessive rainfall and the potential for flooding over South Texas late Wednesday through Friday. A Moderate Risk (level 3 of 4) of excessive rainfall has been issued for portions of South Texas. Overview

A broken line of thunderstorms moved through eastern New York and Western New England between 4 pm and 9 pm on June 26th. Several reports of wind damage occurred with the storms. The damage mainly consisted of downed trees and limbs. The worst damage occurred in Mechanicville, NY, where a microburst was confirmed with estimated winds up to 95 mph. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted, and a baseball dugout was destroyed.
