Click/tap image to enlarge | There exists a risk for strong to marginally severe storms this afternoon and early evening across much of east central Florida. This activity, should it materialize, will be out ahead of an approaching strong cold front. While confidence is low, primary storm threats include occasional to frequent lightning strikes, gusty winds of 45 to 55 mph - with one or two storms capable of 60 mph gusts, small to coin-size hail, and locally heavy downpours. Timing for strongest storm potential will be 2pm-8pm. Movement will be toward the northeast at 25 to 30 mph.
