Click/tap image to enlarge | Cooler and less muggy tonight, but coverage of onshore moving squalls from the Atlantic waters is increasing in the fresh northeasterly flow. Some of these squalls could push inland a fair bit. Gusts in squalls could reach 40 mph. Outside of squalls, winds ease a little but will still be gusty, especially along the coast where gusts could still reach 30 mph. Overnight lows in the mid 60s to mid 70s.

North-northeast winds around 25-30 knots with frequent gusts to gale force will exist across the Brevard and Volusia waters, where a Gale Warning is in effect, and 20-25 knots with occasional gusts to gale force in the Treasure Coast waters where a Small Craft Advisory is in effect. Seas will build 10-14 feet.
Click/tap image to enlarge | A High surf Advisory for rough surf and large breaking waves of 6-10 ft will continue through at least Monday night. This will cause moderate beach and dune erosion during times of high tide (around 2-3 PM and AM). A high risk of life-threatening rip currents also exists at area beaches, and entering this dangerous surf is not advised.
