A low pressure system has moved in and will bring potential for accumulating rain to northeast Montana through late Sunday night. The Little Rockies may see a change to snow on Sunday. Feel free to monitor the latest forecast for changes in rainfall amounts.
Multiple concerns are present in Northeast Montana today. Cold, windy, and rainy conditions persist today and may pose significant risk to newborn livestock. The Lake Wind Advisory remains in place, and a High Wind Warning has been issued for Petroleum county. Any precipitation that falls as snow in this area will significantly lower visibilities. Blizzard conditions will exist in the Little Rockies today, with 4 inches of snow and gusts of 55 mph expected.
