The unusually dry winter, combined with gusty winds and very low humidity will lead to critical fire weather conditions over portions of northern Arizona on Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm. This includes the Mogollon Rim, White Mountains, and adjacent areas of the Little Colorado River Valley.
A low pressure system will slowly cross the state next week, bringing colder temperatures and a daily chance of rain and snow. Snow levels are forecast to hover in the 4000 to 5000 ft range, with accumulating snow and winter driving conditions at times. It's too early to know exact snow amounts, but stay tuned for updates over the coming days.
