Heavy Lake Effect Snow; Fire Weather Concerns for Hawaii

Colder air is rushing southward from the Plains into the Southeast. Heavy lake effect snow will occur with up to a few feet of snow and dangerous traveling conditions. Outside of the lake effect, strong winds will make it feel colder and could impact travel for high profile vehicles. The West Coast states will experience a couple of strong Pacific systems.
