Heavy Snow in the West and Upper Midwest; Freezing Rain in the Northeast

Heavy snow will continue in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and flash flooding is possible in the lower elevations of the southern Sierra Nevada. Moderate to heavy snow is expected from the Intermountain West into the central Rockies and across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
