October 12, 2022 Severe Thunderstorms

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms developed across western Middle Tennessee during the early afternoon hours on October 12, then moved eastward across the rest of Middle Tennessee into the early evening. This line of storms produced numerous reports of damaging winds, with the worst damage in Williamson and Coffee Counties. Sadly, one person was killed near Franklin in Williamson County when a tree was blown down onto her car.
