Summertime heat and scattered showers and storms are once again likely across the area as surface high maintains easterly flow and modest low-level moisture over the area. A few of the stronger storms could bring heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
Residual smoke from the Chipmunk & Lemur wildfires actively burning in the Everglades may result in lingering smoke across portions of inland South Florida overnight. Smoke may remain close to the ground through daybreak on Tuesday, which could result in reduced Air Quality across inland locales.
