Overview

Storms developed during the afternoon hours of April 24th over central Kansas. The strongest storms produced numerous reports of up to baseball size hail with one supercell spawning two brief tornadoes in Ellsworth and northern Saline county. These tornadoes did not cause any damage. Saline county was hit particularly hard with a few episodes of baseball size hail along with heavy rainfall.
