September 10th Wind and Hail
A cluster of thunderstorms developed across southern Nebraska and northern Kansas during the afternoon and evening hours. The storms quickly became severe producing winds in excess of 80 mph along with hail larger than golf balls. The most intense storm caused extensive damage in the Great Bend area and locations south and east through the evening hours. |
